Description

This is one of a core series of Architectural and Interdisciplinary Studies modules that provide students on this programme with a constant point of reference as they develop their knowledge, understanding and skills from years 1 to 3. The series contextualizes a range of practices of spatial production, allowing students to reflect on alternate modes of architectural production and their related links to other disciplines and techniques. In Year 1 the focus is on laying the foundation for future studies ¿ both in terms of knowledge and skills. The module combines lecture presentations with a structured seminar and reading programme, and small group activities/tasks. Assessment will take the form of a critical audit/essay/self-reflection/portfolio.
